Modernisation of the West Coast Main Line

Landscape evidence was prepared and given at a sequence of inquiries and the modernisation is now in progress.

The assessments were undertaken in accordance with the Guidelines for Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (Landscape Institute) and Landscape Mitigation Measures were prepared and incorporated into the Impact Assessments to assist in the assimilation of the project into the surrounding locations.
